Moonshine Film: Advanced Aerial Cinematography and Technical UAS Solutions

Moonshine Film operates at the intersection of creative excellence and technical aviation precision. As a premier UK provider of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) services, we deliver more than just a birds-eye view; we provide high-fidelity visual assets and data-driven insights tailored for the broadcast, construction, and infrastructure sectors. Our approach is grounded in the philosophy that every flight must serve a strategic purpose, whether that is capturing a definitive cinematic shot or providing critical structural data for site managers.

Professional Governance and CAA/GVC Compliance

In a highly regulated industry, operational safety and legal adherence are the benchmarks of quality. Moonshine Film is fully authorised by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and operates under the General Visual Line of Sight Certificate (GVC). This professional accreditation is vital for our commercial partners, as it permits us to operate within the “Specific Category” of flight. This means we are qualified to navigate complex urban environments and congested sites that are often off-limits to standard operators. By prioritising GVC-compliant flight planning and rigorous risk management, we mitigate liability for our clients while ensuring mission success in challenging conditions.

A Consultative Approach to Aerial Data and Media

We view ourselves as a technical extension of your project team. Rather than offering a generic service, we provide expert consultation on the most effective platforms and sensors for your specific goals. From heavy-lift drones capable of carrying cinema-grade camera packages to agile units for close-proximity infrastructure inspections, our fleet is equipped for diversity. We specialise in translating the unique perspective of a drone into a tangible business asset, ensuring that the final output—be it a 6K RAW sequence or a detailed site map—integrates perfectly into your post-production or BIM (Building Information Modelling) workflow. Our Core Professional Services Include:

• Bespoke Aerial Cinematography: Delivering high-bitrate 4K and 6K visuals for television, feature films, and high-end commercial advertising.
• Infrastructure & Asset Inspections: High-resolution visual assessments of structural integrity, reducing the need for costly and hazardous at-height access.
• Construction Site Monitoring: Regular aerial data captures to track project milestones, enhance stakeholder communication, and document progress.
• Precision Real Estate Imaging: Professional perspective photography and video to highlight the context and scale of major land and property assets.

Elevating Project Standards Nationwide

Based in the UK and operating with a national reach, Moonshine Film is committed to pushing the boundaries of what is possible from above. We combine an artistic eye for composition with a methodical, safety-first technical mindset. By choosing a GVC-qualified partner, you are investing in a service that values precision, regulatory excellence, and the highest standards of production value available in the drone industry today.
