Most aerial imagery looks impressive and proves nothing. Image Surveys exists for the other kind of job — where the output must be measurable, defensible and fit for a file somebody else will scrutinise. We are a specialist drone survey and aerial mapping practice, operating under CAA authorisation from a base in Southport.
Compliance as Foundation
Every flight is planned and flown under our CAA Operational Authorisation with a GVC-qualified remote pilot in command: documented safety case, site-specific risk assessment, airspace checks, overflight permissions and liability cover written to EC 785/2004. Operations manual and flight records are available on request — which matters when a report reaches an insurer, a planning officer or a court bundle.
Where Our Work Earns Its Keep
Heritage and historic buildings — rectified façade elevations and roofscape condition capture where scaffolding is disproportionate or access genuinely unsafe.
Agriculture and rural land — field-scale orthomosaics, drainage and topographic modelling, boundary and acreage verification, at a resolution satellite data cannot approach and on a date you choose.
Insurance and loss adjusting — storm and impact damage inspection, with evidence packages built for scrutiny. Our director’s background as a former criminal advocate and career forensic photographer shapes how we capture, caption and disclose.
