FutureScaping Ltd provides professional, data-driven UAV surveying and project monitoring services for residential, commercial, construction and agricultural projects across the UK. Our work is focused on capturing accurate, repeatable aerial data that supports informed decision-making throughout the full lifecycle of a site or project.
UAV Site Surveying & Baseline Data Capture
Our core service is aerial site surveying, delivering high-resolution, measurable data at the earliest stages of a project. Using UAV-based photogrammetry, we generate orthomosaic maps, digital terrain models (DTM), digital surface models (DSM) and 3D point clouds, providing a detailed and objective snapshot of existing site conditions.
These outputs are commonly used to support:
Feasibility studies and early-stage design
Planning submissions and site constraints analysis
Volume calculations and surface measurement
Design coordination and stakeholder communication
Drone-based surveys offer a fast, safe and cost-effective alternative to traditional ground-based methods, particularly on large, complex or difficult-to-access sites. All surveys are planned and flown using repeatable, methodical workflows to ensure consistency and reliability of data.
Project & Construction Monitoring
A key area of our work is repeatable project and construction monitoring, providing clients with a clear visual and spatial record of how a site evolves over time. By carrying out scheduled monitoring flights, we create a defensible audit trail of site activity, progress and condition.
These monitoring services are widely used by:
Architects and designers
Main contractors and subcontractors
Developers and project managers
Property and asset managers
The data captured can support progress reporting, programme reviews, coordination between project teams and, where required, dispute resolution, by providing time-stamped, objective evidence of site conditions at specific stages of a project.
Working with Architects, Designers & Contractors
We regularly collaborate with architects, landscape designers, construction companies and contractors, supplying both baseline surveys and ongoing monitoring tailored to the needs of each project. Our outputs are designed to integrate easily into existing workflows, supporting design development, technical coordination and clear communication with clients and stakeholders.
By providing accurate, up-to-date site data, UAV surveys can reduce uncertainty, highlight potential issues early and help teams make better-informed decisions before problems arise on site.
Agricultural, Vegetation & Land Condition Assessment
Alongside built-environment surveying, we also undertake agricultural and land-based drone surveys, including multispectral vegetation and crop health assessments. Using a DJI Mavic 3 Multispectral (M3M) platform, we capture multispectral data to assess vegetation vigour, land condition and variation across fields and sites.
These surveys are particularly valuable during the growing season and can support:
Crop and vegetation health monitoring
Identification of variation and potential stress areas
Comparative analysis over time
Evidence-based land management decisions
Repeat surveys allow changes in vegetation and land condition to be tracked objectively, helping landowners and managers build a clearer understanding of site performance across a season or year.
Roof & Asset Surveys
We also provide roof and asset surveys for roofing, solar and maintenance contractors. Drone surveys offer a safe and efficient way to inspect roofs and elevated assets without the need for scaffolding or working at height, reducing risk while still delivering clear, repeatable documentation.
These surveys are well suited to:
Pre-works condition assessments
Installation planning for solar and roofing projects
Ongoing inspection and monitoring
Post-works verification and record-keeping
Data Quality, Safety & Compliance
All UAV operations are conducted with a strong emphasis on accuracy, safety and regulatory compliance. Flights are fully insured and planned in line with current UK aviation regulations, with careful consideration given to site conditions, airspace restrictions and operational risk.
Our focus is on delivering practical, survey-grade data with clearly defined outputs, rather than general aerial photography. Every project is approached with the aim of producing data that is usable, measurable and directly relevant to the clientโs objectives.
